Blurb from Goodreads: Maggie is a seventeen year old girl who's had a bad year. She was smart and on track but then her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has.

Then she meets Caleb. She saves his life and instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing but she is supposed to be on her way to a date with his cousin. But things change when they touch, sparks ignite. Literally.

They imprint with each other and she sees their future life together flash before her eyes. She learns that not only is she his soul mate, and can feel his heartbeat in her chest, but there is a whole other world of people with gifts and abilities that she never knew existed. She herself is experiencing supernatural changes unlike anything she's ever felt before and she needs the touch of his skin to survive.

Now, not only has her dad come out of his depression to be a father again, and a pain as well, but Caleb's enemies know he's imprinted and are after Maggie to stop them both from gaining their abilities and take her from him.

Can Caleb save her or will they be forced to live without each other after just finding one another?

Review: Do you believe in fate? How about soul mates? If you don't I think this book might just make you a believer.
Maggie has been drifting through her senior year. Once a girl who was on the fast tract to becoming valedictorian, after her mother left and took every single penny from Maggie's college fund, Maggie is a sad shell of the girl she used to be. I could feel her pain and for the first couple of pages I pitied her so much, but things pick up pretty quickly when Maggie saves a boy's life which in turn seals her fate to his forever, because she is his soul-mate, his significant.
Caleb is the most amazing guy ever. He makes me melt. He cares so much for Maggie and the things he does and says will make you swoon. He is rather perfect. I mean he's smart, athletic, and good looking. The thing is though, when you meet Caleb you wouldn't care if he was fat, ugly and had three eyes. The way the character is written, the things he says and does just makes him so perfect. He will literally go though hell for Maggie.
Caleb's and Maggie's relationship is perfect. Imprinting is basically finding your ideal match. Two people who imprinted are matched perfectly in every way. So I guess that's why their relationship is so perfect. They don't hide things from one another. They don't have ulterior motives and their love isn't fueled by lust. Their love is selfless, pure and amazing. These two are definitely one of my favorite couples ever. Their relationship also isn't insta-love even though it may seem like it at first glance. However, there is a progression to their relationship and we have a chance to believe the romance. I with all my heart believe that Caleb loves Maggie above everything else and she has the same feelings for him.
I loved how the characters matured. Maggie was timid and lost in the beginning of the book, but when she found Caleb she in a way found herself.
This book is perfect in every way and every one who enjoys a good romance should read this book. Shelly Crane is a genius when it comes to writing romance and this book  has everything. Romance that will make your toes curl, a plot that will keep you on the edge and characters  who will make you love them.
This book will make you a believer of what is written on the cover: Sometimes what you  always needed walks up when you least expect it.
