Exposing Kitty Langley by DeAnna Kinney

Title: Exposing Kitty Langley
Author: DeAnna Kinney
Published: Jan 2, 2013
Kindle Edition Novella

Blurb from Goodreads: For almost four years, Kitty Langley has been part of a ‘mean girls’ group called the Bee Hives, the most hated and feared girls at West Windrake High. That is until she witnesses their relentless attack on her former childhood friend. Making a drastic decision, she takes a stand against the dreaded B’s and thus becomes their new enemy and number one target. Now an outcast, not only of the B’s but of the entire school, she will have to pull from her inner strength as she prepares for the persecution she will face in the name of revenge.

Reed Reynolds is not looking for trouble. He just wants to get through his senior year and work on his music in peace. But when he mistakenly kisses Kitty Langley at their annual Masquerade Dance, he is both appalled and intrigued, never having experienced a kiss so powerful. Reed soon finds himself drawn in by this new Kitty and her tolerance for her so called ‘deserved punishment’. But will he endanger himself to defend her against the B’s and the entire school in the name of honor—or more importantly, in the name of love?

A Charity Series Novella, or a stand-alone

Review:
   ARC Review!!!
This novella was a cute read but it had so much character and the heroine faced real problems. Kitty Langley made some mistakes she once was the mean girl everybody hates but she decided to change for the better. She left the B's and wants nothing to do with them. But, no one just gets away with leaving the B's.
I loved Kitty and I felt so bad for her. She believed that she deserved what was happening to her. Getting pushed down the stairs, beaten, just physically and mentally tormented she though she deserved it all because of who she was. She even believed that she didn't deserve to be happy because of what she did. I loved how she changed through the short novella. She realized that she suffered enough and that she should just stand up to Bunny.
Reed, I totally love this guy. He was so good to her and he just couldn't stand to watch her get hurt. He was willing to do so much for her and he was just the perfect guy. I loved him from the first time we got insight into his mind. He's just that type of guy that every girl wants. So Reed, well definitely one of my favorite characters.
Speaking of my favorite characters... Guess who makes an appearance?!!? Yes, Levi and Charity give some advice to Kitty and Reed because if you remember the Charity Series then you should remember that Charity and Bunny didn't exactly get along. Well to be completely honest I'm pretty sure that if Charity got a chance to make Bunny history she would do it without a doubt. So it was so great seeing those two characters again. I really missed them both.
In the end this was a great novel that also has a great focus. Bullying isn't something anyone should put up whether you think you deserved it or not. Thanks to the author of this novella for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

  I give this novella
