Author: L.Filloon
Published: July 27th, 2012
eBook

Blurb from Goodreads: Tharin and Lily find themselves back in Pathen in search of Julia and the key to Eirrell, but old foes and new ones are in close pursuit. Adding to their plight, all doorways to Velesi have been closed.

Forced to discover a way back to their realm, the group finds help from new friends and those who once stood against them are now allies. To make matters worse, a betrayal causes the door to the UnderRealm to open, allowing demons and monsters once imprisoned to roam the realm freely.

Time is of the essence as there are only two Ancients left while Ka grows weaker, struggling to hold the realm together. It is up to Tharin and Lily to find the doorway to Eirrell, call the Unnamed Sidhe and save Velesi.

Journey back to Velesi and join Tharin, Lily, Tolan, Julia, Alorn, Mellis, Ziri and Cessa to save the realm and maybe have a wedding...or two, but then again, it is Velesi, so...maybe not.

Review:
That was my reaction when I read an email from L.Fillon saying that I was going to get a gift of The Whispering. I mean let's face it, you would have that reaction too if you spent months waiting for this book especially after the ending of the last book. Okay that little note aside THE WHISPERING WAS AMAZING!!!!!!
I wanted to laugh, cry, hit someone, hug someone, strangle someone and then feed them to coyotes, throw the book across the room and then run after it screaming... okay I should stop now, you can all see that this book was a roller-coaster of  emotions and events.
Picking up where The Drifting  left  off and ending at the very last pages there is nonstop action and drama. Things are revealed that will make your jaw drop. Lily was so much more kickass in this book I wanted to hug the girl. She does make some dumb decisions thoough. ** insert faceplam here**  but her choices and actions can be argued as done out of love for her family. Other than that Lily was amazing.
Speaking of amazing, Tharin, who do I have to pay to get myself one of him? He was so protective and perfect and HOT I mean boy, keep a fan by yourself while reading this book this man will set your heart on fire!!!!! Granted he did have his " Me man you my woman, you do what me say!!!!" moments but he knew how much was at stake if Lily kept on taking risks like that. So all is forgiven for my beloved Tharin.
The supporting characters were so lovable and they will stay with me for a while especially Cessa( there is a little surprise with her  too.) Julia and Tolan have one of the most confusing relationships ever but I do love them as a couple. Alorn and Mellis and Ka and literally everyone else in the book played their role perfectly and I have one thing left to say. WHY IS IT OVER!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
   I give this finale

Opal ( Lux Series 3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Title: Opal ( Lux 3)
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Published: December 11th, 2012 by Entangled Teen
Number of Pages: 383

Blurb from Goodreads:No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

Review:  Okay confession time, I basically read the entire book the day it came with the exception of the last chapter. Which one of my idiot friends ruined for me. So I figured if I didn't read it, the cliffhanger wouldn't hurt as much. Yeah, that was  a really bad assumptions and I suffered for the next book for month. ( Still am suffering, just in case you were wondering.) Anyway, I've decided to stop being a wussy and rip off the bandage and just read the last chapter. It was torture!!!!!! That little rant aside I'll do the review now.
This book picks up where the last one left off. Katy is trying to deal with everything that happened and Daemon is doing an amazing job just  being by her side and rocking on with his awesome self. Katy was smart and I loved her and Yeah... Okay so this review isn't working out because:
THE ENDING!!!!! YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME IT'S BEEN MONTHS AND I'M STILL NOT OVER IT.
  This is reader abuse. Unfair.
Ohhh and Billy, Bob, Burt, whatever your name is he better watch his back because Daemon ** swoons a little ** will get his revenge. REVENGE I TELL YOU!!!!
Anywho I give this torture device

Review:*** I received an ARC of this novel from the author in exchange for my honest review.***
I loved the previous books in the series. They were amazing. This book did not disappoint. This book is filled with action and the stakes are very high. The plot moved fast and and this book was very hard to put down. The characters were great for the most part. I want to shake Eileen at times but I'll talk about that later. Christian was lovable as always. Evan was his same old cocky, loyal, amazing friend. Okay Eileen, she did some really really stupid things in this book I feel. I just wanted to shake her. She kept on putting herself and other people in danger. While there is nothing wrong when characters try to do things on their own to protect those they love, Eileen went about it in a very immature and at times reckless way. Granted she started to learn towards the end of the novel, but even then some stunts she pulled had me wishing I could reach inside the book and shake some sense into her.
Besides that little rant, here's another one. THE ENDING!!!!!! HOLY CANNOLLI WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT?!?!?!? I can't believe that cliffhanger I literally almost had a panic attack when I got to that part and there was nothing after.  That will definitely keep me on pins and needles waiting for the last book.
If you enjoyed the previous two books definitely check out this one.
 I give this novel

Descendant by Nichole Glines

Title: Descendant
Author: Nichole Glines

Number of Pages: 278

Blurb from Goodreads:Seventeen-year-old Abigail Johnson is Gifted.

Blessed—or cursed—with Sight and Healing, Abby lives an unsettled life, moving from place to place and staying one step ahead of the darkness that hunts her. When she arrives in Jackson, Wyoming, she is desperate to maintain the illusion of normalcy, but she is plagued with visions of past lives mixed with frightening glimpses of her future. Then she meets Kye, a mysterious boy who seems so achingly familiar that Abby is drawn to him like he’s a missing piece of her own soul.

Before Abby can discover the reason for her feelings toward Kye, the darkness catches up to her and she is forced to flee again. But this time she’s not just running. She is fighting back with Kye at her side, and it’s not just Abby’s life at stake.

Review: This book was a roller coaster of emotions. I was all over the place reading this and it started from chapter one. I'm talking like page 3 people and it didn't end until quite literally the last page. It's beautifully written and you could feel the emotions Abby was experiencing. Speaking of Abby I liked her as a character. Granted, she had her flaws and at times I really couldn't connect with her as a character but she was very wise for her age and I loved reading some of the things she thought to herself.
"Life's a journey that forces us all to move forward, whether we want to or not."
That's pretty deep for a 17 year old guys.I loved her loyalty to her friends and those she loved and how she actually considered the situation and tried to think logically ( which unfortunately is becoming very rare in heroines.) Her relationship with Kye was sweet and I loved how it didn't take over the whole story. It was there and it was part of the plot line but it  wasn't the whole plot, it was there to back the plot which was the main focus.
Okay so some people will get annoyed with the while Insta- Love but honestly it's not your typical Insta-Love. It has the whole they knew each other before and loved each other before ,and even then there is development to their relationship. It's not that meet at 9 am and proclaim undying love by lunch kind of thing.    The plot was intense when it picked up. Somethings revealed I saw coming from a mile away, others hit me in the face like a freight train. The story line was original and I loved all the legends behind the story.
People that enjoy an intense paranormal romance should definitely check out this novel
I give this story
